Pursuing a doctoral degree in Fine Arts – Music Education
Patrick “Pat” Antinone is living a life-long dream as a PhD candidate in Fine Arts/ Music Education (Choral) and is in his first year as a graduate student at Texas Tech. A full time Teaching Assistant, originally from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, Pat brings over 20 years of teaching and leadership experience in the public schools having directed choral music at both the middle and high schools levels and served in administration as the district-wide Director of Fine Arts for a suburban school district. His goals for this year are to (1) pursue the development of a graduate/undergraduate mentoring program, (2) increase the visibility and awareness of the GSAC through multiple communication outlets, (3) and explore opportunities for increased facilitation of community engagement for graduate students through the GSAC.
